As spring rolls on, there&rsquo;s plenty of exciting news to share from Katanga Lodge Racing. Our horses are making incredible progress, each showing their unique qualities as they advance through their training. Here&rsquo;s a round-up of our latest developments.
Picklum: Big, Strong Staying Filly Picklum continues to impress with her powerful physique and determination on the track. Bred to stay, she&rsquo;s proving to be a force in her training sessions. Recently, she has been thriving in both her track work and low-impact water walker sessions, where she&rsquo;s able to build fitness without strain. Sirgeeo: Lightly Raced, Natural Speed Sirgeeo, our lightly raced gelding, is really starting to take shape. His natural speed is becoming more apparent with each training session, and his progression has been promising. With a few more sessions under his belt, Sirgeeo is looking more and more like a serious contender. Scarlet Nights x Highland Reel Filly: First Prep Complete We&rsquo;re thrilled with how our Scarlet Nights x&nbsp;Highland Reel filly is coming along. She&rsquo;s just finished her first prep and has shown herself to be very sharp and responsive in her early training. Here is a photo of her back from the breaker. Cartier Post: In Foal to Royal Meeting Our lovely Cartier Post is just three weeks away from foaling and is looking fantastic. Cartier Post x Rich Enuff Colt In the meantime, we&rsquo;ve got some nice shots of her colt by Rich Enuff. This youngster is growing into a fine specimen, showing a lot of his dam&rsquo;s qualities. Think Diamonds x Frosted Colt: A Great Attitude Our Think Diamonds x Frosted colt is showing promise during his first prep.
